Claudia is the sort of kitten who will run up to you for pats, once she gets to know you and is comfortable with you. This exceptionally pretty calico girl has a super loud purr and is an absolute sweetheart.

Claudia and her sister Gretel (not yet ready for adoption) were rescued from behind a business in Noble Park, where they were being fed and had a safe haven. But life on the streets can be tough for kittens so the girls were brought to safety.

Since being in care Claudia has discovered how fun it is to play – and she loves all sorts of cat toys. Claudia will play for hours as she entertains herself non-stop. She is hilarious to watch and shoot videos of, so get your phone camera ready.

When it comes time for a kitten nap, Claudia likes to seek out a warm blanket to snuggle into. All the better if you happen to be under that blanket too.

Feeding this gorgeous calico girl is easy; she loves to eat pet mince for main meals and snack on kitten dry food throughout the day. She has also been trialled on some tinned foods and will eat them if they suit her palate.

Claudia is a very intelligent girl; she is quick to work things out and seeks out new ways to keep her active mind amused. For this reason she will need a home where she will have someone to play and engage with her.

Claudia would be fine with young children as long as they understand that they will need to give her space from time to time.

While Claudia is very social with other cats in foster care with her, she is not fond of her foster carer’s dog. So we do not recommend Claudia go to a home with a dog.
