About Boof ~ 7yr old Mastiff X(On Trial 3/7/21)
Meet Boof! Boof is a big, 7-year-old, mastiff x dane boofhead.
He is looking for a home with big dog experience to enjoy his senior years.
Boof enjoys his walks and he will need an owner who is confident handling all 50kg of him! He walks well using a head halti, though he may sometimes pull and this might catch his owner off guard.
Boof has been an inside dog and should be welcome inside when his owners are home. He loves his walks, but otherwise will be happy to chill out in the sun and laze around the house.
This boy still has some bounce in his step and can jump up if he is excited, so he will not be suited to smaller kids.
Teenagers would be the youngest in his family home, but his ideal would be as a companion for a single or couple where he can soak up the love in a chilled home environment.
Boof is generally quite relaxed around other dogs, and while he may be able to be introduced to another dog, we are looking for a home where he is the only boy.
He has some basic training but as a food motivated boy, he would be up for learning more. He travels well in the car and would love to go wherever you do.
Boof does not have any health issues but will need a home who understands that he is approaching his senior years and may require regular vet checks.
If you love big breeds and big slobber, this is the boy for you. For more information on this absolutely sensational boy, please contact Jenn on DRN.jenn@gmail.com or you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://form.jotform.co/82217742684866
Boof is currently in foster care in the Newcastle Region NSW.
Boof's adoption fee is $250 and includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping.
