Hi! I'm Roxy.

I'm a quiet, thoughtful girl who ended up here through a bit of bad luck. Now I'm waiting patiently for my forever family. I haven't met a lot of strangers or dogs yet, so sometimes I feel a little nervous or overwhelmed with new people, but once I get to know you, I am your loyal friend for life!

What you need to know is that I love toys - tennis balls, squeaky toys, if you can throw it, I love it - so if you can lob a ball, we're already on our way to being best buds!

I am also food-motivated, so ready to learn lots of new tricks. I already have some nice manners - I will happily Sit for you to put my lead on, I walk nicely on lead without pulling, and if you bring out my dinner? I'll Sit before you even ask!

I'd love a forever family who understands dog body language and know what to do when I'm unsure. I'd like them to understand that at one point I didn't have anything, so sometimes I find it hard to share my food and special items like bones. This means it'd be best if I went to a home without young children. With some trust, I will be a fabulous family member.

Other dogs in my space can make me a bit tense and unsure, so although I have passed many other dogs on walks, it'd be best for me to be the only dog in the household. But that means I get to spend even more time with you!
