About Rocky
Hi! My name is Rocky and I'm a really good boy! I'm a blue heeler possibly crossed with a kelpie which means I've got energy to play!
I haven't been around that long, my first owner bought me as a present but I'm really not suited to living in an apartment. I really need to find a family who will adopt me for the right reasons.
I think I might be a Hemsworth brother since I tend to have the same effect on people, which is why I really need someone who will love and care for me once I become older and more distinguished like George Clooney...
I love sleeping in a big bed (which also keeps my fur silky soft!). I like to spend a lot of time with my foster family, I'm best suited to a home where I can follow my owners to work or have peoplearounda lot. I'm still a puppy so I need regular walks and socialising and ongoing as a big boy I'll need plenty of exercise, outings and mental stimulation.
I love hanging out with my foster dad while he's working on his cars, doing renovations outdoors or going exploring in the bush! I get along really well with most dogs, I'll need an attentive owner that can look out for signs of when I'm nervous but still let me have fun and play.
I need a big yard or acreage to run around in otherwise I can be a bit of a handful, even with regular walks and exercise. I love the outdoors, but I need to sleep indoors (it keeps me happy and also helps keep my fur silky soft!)
I get along well with other dogs so my ideal new home with have another active, playful, desexed adult (not senior) dog companion.
My new family need to be committed to taking me to training classes.
I respond really well to a strong, experienced and responsible leader and will come to you when you call my name. I'm still a bit of a puppy and my instincts can make me mistake some playmates as cows, so I might try to nip at their heels. I'll need that strong experienced leader to keep me on the right track.
I have not been tested with cats or other small animals.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
