Say hello to Derek,

He has silky smooth fur and is very playful. Loves boxes and balls.
He is a couch potato and is a great lap warmer for these colder months.

Derek will make a great companion cat, he doesn't Meow often and is quite through the night. He will take a few days to warm up to new people but once he does he is the ultimate smoochy kitten!

I've come a long way since arriving at SCAR. I was a shy, cautious guy waiting on someone to show me that I can be brave and that people aren't that scary.

I've come from a place with lots of other cats, so I would ideally like a home with another similarly aged feline to continue to help me build my confidence.

Once I get to know you I'm a snuggly, affectionate boy, happy to spend my days playing, lying in the sun on a comfy bed and having a chat to my humans. Mu foster mum says I have the loudest purr and will start purring from the moment we lock eyes!

I'm not the type of kitten that likes to be picked up and overhandled so I would like my new home to not have any little kids just in case I get scared.

If you have had some experience with shy kittens and have helped them build their confidence before then I would love for you to apply to meet me.
