About Gabby
Gabby is one of four puppies, most likely staffy mixes, turned in by a member of the public, having been found in a cardboard box. The pups were about 7 weeks old, and being thin, unvaccinated and left alone, all the little girls soon developed parvo. Quite ill for a few days, they've all made spectacular recoveries and have more than made up for lost time. Gabby was so named because she was the first one to bark. She is very chatty about her wants and needs; very social, loving and friendly. She loves all puppy activities like playing with toys, wrestling with her sisters, and eating. A lot! she will be a good dog for a normally active family, couple, or single. She gets along well with her foster parents' three dogs of varying sizes and shapes. She likes kids just fine, although normal cautions apply about pups and small children needing supervision. Since gabby was separated from her mum too early, puppy class and basic obedience will be a must, and lots of socialization with other dogs and people. Another dog in the home would be great too. Gabby's coat is a lovely tan-to-red at present, and she has a black and white mask and other white markings. We think she will stay on the smaller end of female staffy size. Gabby is not to be re-homed as an outside dog, as staffies are people loving little dogs and would not do well living in the yard. They can also be subject to the cold and wet with their very short coats. Gabby will come to her new home de-sexed, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. She has been started on housebreaking and is learning good manners. She will make a lovely addition to your family!
