About Maxi
Hi guys,
Like so many kitty cats looking for their purrfect forever homes, I have a bit of a story to tell....
I was down on my luck, finding myself pregnant without a home to call my own when I found myself in a really rural pound hoping with all that I am that someone, anyone would put their hand up to give me a safe haven to have my babies. Thankfully that soon happened and I found my way down to the big smoke, arriving into foster care not quite sure what to make of this place I suddenly found myself in. The peace and quiet, the yummy food and comfy beds were a welcome change, that’s for sure.
Well within a couple of days I’d settled in really well, was eating my weight worth in food every day until suddenly I wasn’t feeling great and I miscarried my babies. Heartbroken, feeling depressed and not wanting to eat for a little while, I really didn’t know how to handle things and withdrew into myself to come to terms with my new situation. I did get to enjoy a bit of a kitten fix though by grooming some of the orphan little ones that are in my foster home, and that really gave me back my spark and I’m now back to being the real me - happy, affectionate and with so much love to give.
I must admit I do enjoy a bit of a conversation and love a chat & I’ve started doing these little trills which is apparently really cute - and I am THE most smoochest girl, I love pats, head rubs and ear scratches are just the best!! I can be a little odd though and sleep in the linen cupboard occasionally - don’t know why really, I just kinda like it in there. I’m really great with other cats and kittens and the resident little yappy pooch doesn’t bother me at all. I’m happy to hang out with you humans and equally content with my own company, I’m such an easy going girl, and with my round chubby face, beautiful big eyes and my Manx breed, I’m a real looker too.
So if you think I sound like the purrfect kitty for you, come meet me and let’s find out
Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
