Polly and Freckles are a bonded pair of senior girls. They are medium/large dogs who like to think they are lap dogs. They have been together a decade and sadly lost their human mum a few months ago.
They are a chilled out pair who are happy to spend their days snoozing and having pats and cuddles when they can get them.
They are dog, children, people and even budgie (in the cage) friendly. No cats however as Freckles is a little too interested in them.
They do love a walk and are good on the lead. Polly likes her walks a little longer than Freckles, as Freckles is a little more limited with arthritis in her hips.
They are not big barkers but will alert when visitors arrive. They are very friendly and love any extra pats, even from the small children who come to visit.
They do need to be inside/outside dogs with access to the couch – as they will help themselves anyway, although they are very respectful of the furniture. Snuggling at night on the bed with their human teenager foster brother is their favourite thing to do.
These girls are looking for a retirement home where someone is home most of the time. Due to their age, preferably without children under 8. Standard 4-5ft fencing is all they need.
Whoever welcomes these girls into their home will not regret it as they are an adorable, loveable and affectionate duo.
Medical notes
Freckles has arthritis and both girls are on joint health supplements.
