About Les
Les (Heart of Gold).
If life was a movie, Les would be the rugged drifter, who overcomes an unknown past and discovers the joy of love and family in foster care to reveal a heart of gold.
His character description would read: Les is tall, rangy red cattle dog cross, about 3yo. He loves people, even kids, and is social with other dogs. But would rather a home as an only dog so he can soak up all the love, and give plenty in return.
He needs a yard with 5 ft or higher fences. He has not met cats or pocket pets, so a home without these is required. He has some bad experiences with male dogs so best with female dogs. No dog parks, as they can be an uncontrolled environment.
Being of moderate energy for his breed, he would love a daily walk to keep his mind and body active, and to be allowed inside to cuddle with with his family.
Can you help Les write the sequel, the one where he lives happily ever after?
Medical notes
Very healthy boy.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
