About Willow
Hi!
My name is Willow.
I am a large and friendly girl looking for a quiet and calm home where my new family will take things slow with me as I can be shy when meeting new people and a little jumpy around new things, however once I get to know you I am very affectionate. I am also very good in the car and toilet trained.
I would prefer if the children in the house were over 12 years of age because I am a large breed and would prefer calmness in the house, sometimes when the kids have friends over it may be too much for me but older kids are OK. I would love it if I had a safe space of my own to go to like a crate or bed where I can be left alone to relax and snooze and would need access to both indoors and outdoors so that I could come and go as I please and sleep inside if I wanted to.
If you have a calm and social dog already I would like to meet them and see if we can be friends, I am polite and appropriate when I meet other dogs but need to make sure we are a good match before taking me home.
Since being at the RSPCA the lovely vets here have been giving me the best love, care and some medication to help me with my Hip dysplasia. I will need to stay on these medication for life and the possibility of Hip Replacement Surgery in the future. My new family will need to have a free vet consult before taking me home.
If you would like to meet me please bring all the family to the shelter today and ask the friendly shelter staff about me.
