ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS -- LARGE INDOOR OR OUTDOOR ENCLOSURE (PHOTOS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ADOPTION -- OLDER CHILDREN CONSIDERED (WITH RABBIT EXPERIENCE 10+)

Howdy, I'm Piper! I am a very strong and independent bunny who ended up at the shelter through no fault of my own. I can be very curious of my surroundings, often perching up on my hind legs to get a better view. I will always come up to greet you and see if you have any food for me, however, I do NOT like to be picked up just yet. I will happily hop onto your lap, receive ear scratches and give you a good sniff, but interactions will need to be on my own terms until I know and trust you. For this reason, I would not be suited to live with young children, but I could perhaps do well with older children who understand my boundaries. Given my curious nature, I would love to be an indoor bunny or have a very secure outside pen. I could potentially enjoy the company of another bunny providing my family do slow introductions.
