Hey! Since you're reading this, I bet you're looking for a new best friend. Perfect - because so am I!

I'm Des. Due to a change in circumstances, my previous human couldn't look after me anymore. That means this handsome dude - yours truly - is looking for a forever home.

I'm great company so if you're after a buddy to watch Netflix with you, keep you company while you work, cook, do yoga, write a novel, build robots, do kung fu, I'm your guy. Whatever you're into, I'm keen to be there.

My hobbies, you ask? Well, I like toys, so would love it if my new family could play ball games with me. Squeaky toys are also my jam. I like doing zoomies in the big yard we have here in shelter. I also think walks and saying hi to people is pretty great - so if you like those things too, we could be great for each other!

I have sometimes felt a bit stressed while I've been in shelter, so I'd prefer to go to a home without young children or other dogs. My perfect human family would consist of adults who understand that life makes me anxious sometimes, and will commit to making sure I'm comfortable in my new home. In return, I will listen whenever you need to talk, give you licks if you need comfort, and wag when you need a smile.
