About Pip
Based in Horsham 3400 - 3.5 hours from Melbourne towards SA Border
Our devoted to people Greyhound x Staghound girl Pip is now ready to find her home. Pip came into our care in poor condition in late March, still feeding 5 month old pups and pregnant again. Pip's date of birth is 19/10/2019.
Pip has been nurtured and is now in great condition and ready to find a home that will meet her needs.
Pip would be best suited to a home as an only pet so the full focus is on her. Pip loves to stretch her legs with a run, but equally loves being snuggled up with her owners.
Pip can be vocal and excited when she see's other dogs, but she has not shown any aggression. Pip will need a home where further work can be done to teach Pip to contain her excitement and calmly approach other dogs.
We have done some initial testing of Pip with kittens (whilst their safety was ensured) and Pip showed little interest, however we are sure if a cat or kitten ran she would chase (instinct).
Pip is toilet trained and it is essential she goes to a home where she can be an inside family member.
Pip goes to her new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $600.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
