Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Scout
and I bet you have never met anyone with as much energy and zest for life as meeeee! Are you a runner? Great, lets go! Have a big backyard with tall, secure fences? I would love to zoom around in it! Have a spare spot on the couch at night? Let me snooze next to you after a fun day full of exercise and activities.
I am more suited to the outer suburbs/property and need an owner who is home more often than not due to my Separation Anxiety. I fancy myself a bit of an escape artist (that's the Husky in me!) so I cannot be left alone outside.
I am so full of spark that sometimes I just cannot control myself, and I jump up on people to let them know how happy I am to see them. When the humans put a lead on me and I know its time for walks, I am so keen to show them how its done that they say I pull pull pull! I have found a harness much comfier to be walked on. If I get bored, I like to chew on things, so please make sure I have plenty to do to keep my brain busy. Food bowls are boring, feed me from a kong please!
I need to go to a home with NO dogs, NO cats, NO birds or small animals - they are just too tempting to chase. Most importantly I need an EXPERIENCED, PHYSICALLY STRONG adult family with the time and patience to teach me to be the best gal I can be! I am not suited to a home with first time dog owners, due to some complex behaviours I exhibit.
