Rocky and Bailey are a lovable duo. Bailey is an absolute optimist. This beautiful soul doesn’t seem to have bad thoughts about anything or anyone. Her heart is so full of love, sometimes she can be too enthusiastic, mostly around other dogs met out and about.
Rocky has a more reserved personality and is wary when around new people and dogs that make him feel unsure. When he is with Bailey he feels confident and safe, but when alone can be defensive.
Both dogs are house trained. They need some extra work on their lead walking and basic commands, but that is a process their foster carer has already started. They are keen to please and Bailey has proven to be quite smart, so we expect they will respond well to loving training and boundaries set. Their new home will be with adult/s, or if adopted by a family, teenagers just due to their size and enthusiasm for life.
These two have had the BOAS operation to improve their breathing and they are feeling better than they ever have. But because of their breed they will still need a family who understand the needs of brachycephalic dogs, primarily not too much exertion and prone to heat stress.
Does your world need some extra sunshine? These adorable friends may be just what you need!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
