Alfie

Alfie is a small-medium sized Jack Russell x Heeler with loads of character. He was surrendered to Pawfect Pals as his previous owner unfortunately didn't have time for him anymore and he was spending the majority of his time alone in the backyard.

Alfie is a lovely boy who likes to be with you, just hanging around and chilling. He has a friendly loving nature. He loves to go on walks around his rural foster home and when off lead stays close by and has good recall. He is house trained and loves to snuggle on the couch. Alfie loves his food and loves water; he jumps into water at every available opportunity!

He is currently living with several other dogs and generally mixes with them well. Some he will even play bitey face with! He is ok with other dogs off lead when introduced correctly but would prefer to have you all to himself in his new home. Cats are a no go.

Alfie needs a home where he will be a big part of the household. He likes to be with you all the time and grows attached to his owner quite quickly. Alfie needs an experienced owner that will continue his training. Unfortunately Alfie has some resource guarding issues that will need long term work, and he is reactive towards other dogs when on lead.

He needs an adult only home, and is not suited to a home with children. We will offer ongoing training support for the successful applicant.
