Remy

Remy was surrendered to us a few months back. He came to us with a wound on his left hand abdomen and was extremely unsure of all the new people and the environment he had now found himself in. Remy was quite happy to be left alone and showed his displeasure for too much human interaction on more than one occasion.
Since being here at SMART, Remy has had a visit to the vet and had his wound attended to and healed. He has formed a lovely bond with our male Kennel Hand here (loves to follow him around, go on walks and even have a cuddle) but is extremely hesitant/wary with any of our female staff members.

Remy is one of those dogs that just needs time and a safe space to adjust. In time, he would become your faithful partner in crime. Given his dislike for the female staff, Remy would be best suited to a male companion. He seems to be happier with smaller dog breeds as friends and quite happily runs around with his little crew here at the Sanctuary. We would deem him unsuitable with cats and children.
