Casper

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Casper, the biggest, softest snuggle buddy you are ever likely to meet.

My DNA results read like a who’s who of big tough blokey breeds but you know what they say about not judging a book by its cover. I am far from a tough nut, much preferring to snuggle up to you on the couch or snooze in my favourite beanbag than engage in any crazy antics.

My foster mum adores me, and I LOVE her. She provides me with all the love and cuddles I desire but also shows me how to be more confident and helps me to enjoy our daily walks. I don’t need a huge amount of exercise but do enjoy the enrichment of a thorough sniff and a good romp in the sunshine. I would also be very happy with a home who would get their creative juices flowing and find new and fun ways to engage my intellectual side with nose work, food toys, puzzles and further training exercises.

I don’t need another canine companion and would be very chuffed with a home where I have the humans all to myself. If I was to be welcomed into a home with an existing pooch, a older dog who will provide a calm and confident role model would be welcomed. I really like to chase small fluffy things (because, well you know, greyhound) so a home with cats and small mammals would not be my cup of tea and a home that could help me overcome my overzealous love of giving chase to all things fast and fuzzy would be amazing!

My perfect home would include me and two experienced adult dog owners who can accept me for all my quirks while enjoying my affectionate, hilarious, exuberant personality.
