Arya ~ 3yr Old Beagle(On Trial 6/6/21)

Meet Arya who is a three-year-old Beagle set to steal your heart. She is a little dynamo and will be sure to make anyone happy. She is a delightful, engaging and energetic girl who delights in being near your side (or in your lap). She loves cuddles and would love nothing more than this, you could say she is demanding of attention and her new owner(s) must not mind this at all!

Arya is exploring new territory with the outside world. She is very eager to explore every smell, sight and sound. She has been enjoying a morning and evening walk every day. She can get super excited and can bark at passers-by and pull on the lead. She is slowly improving and will need continued training in this area so that what she has already learnt isn’t going to waste. True to the Beagle breed also she loves food and loves being rewarded with treats for good manners. She is polite when it comes to eating food.

Arya is currently living with an older Beagle girl who doesn’t like to play much, however when her friend comes to visit Arya plays tireless with him, he is a Dachshund. She has adapted well to being outdoors and is content sleeping in her kennel with company. She enjoys people and is OK with most children. She does not cope with being left alone and would prefer the company of another dog.

The ideal home for Arya would be new owners who have knowledge of the breed or experience with dogs, another companion she could play with, and new owners with plenty of patience to continue positive training for her. Due to Arya’s breed an escape-proof yard is essential.
