Zelkie

Zelkie is a beautiful natured girl who was bought as a baby puppy and was very regretfully surrendered due to owners moving. She grew up on a large acreage, living with her owner and one other dog. She came to us very shy and unsocialised, but is flourishing with all the love and attention she has been getting from us and is such a lovely dog who will do anything you ask (or at least have a go) all for a cuddle. She has limited obedience skills, but is more than happy to learn something new. I feel that she would be best suited to a home who understands the breed, preferrably one who has owned danes before, or a family who's leader is firm but kind. I feel that zelkie will blossom in a structured environment, where she understands her place and the boundaries, as she is a little insecure by nature
