Say 'hi' to Groot!

Groot is a 10 week old kelpie x border collie x Australian cattle dog - he is from a long line of tough working dogs bred to work cattle so this little dude is not for the faint hearted!

Groot and his 5 brothers are looking for experienced working dog homes (cattle dog would be preferred). He will need a strong, confident owner to support him into adulthood and provide him with boundaries so he grows into a well-balanced adult dog.

Groot needs a family who understand the mental and physical needs of his breed. He will need to have consistent, daily exercise and access to a good sized backyard in addition to daily training to keep his active brain busy. Someone who he can go to work with, be around people and be kept busy during the day would be his ideal home.

Groot has had his first vaccination and is currently serving his quarantine period. We are taking applications and he will be available from 28.5.2021.
