Joey

Joey is the Most Gentle Loving Boy you will ever meet - Joey will melt your heart & fill your soul <3

I have cared for many fosters cats & Kittens, but Joey is one of the most loving boys I have ever had in my care, especially given his story

Joey, or as I fondly call him, ‘My Joe Joey’ (Said in a weird loving voice that only true cat lovers would understand) :), was found at a persons home with a severely injured foreleg, he was also absolutely starving & severely underweight

Unfortunately we could not save Joey’s leg as he had an old fracture that had healed obscurely and we sadly had to amputate

When Joey first came into care, he was in so much pain, he was also very depressed, Joey was so broken, in every sense of the word

But after his amputation, my ‘Joe Joey’ not only mended physically, but also mentally and became the most loving boy

Whilst initially crated when he first came in to care & although being very shutdown, he would call out/talk to my other foster cats, in the most adoring ‘meow’ I have ever heard – So Joey will need to be adopted into a home with another suitable cat or kitten, I think a kitten or young cat would make his world as he has such patience & such a giving heart and although Joey has not been around young children in care, I feel he would be fine with a loving, caring & non rambunctious child/children & would be fine with a gentle cat friendly dog also

Although Joey has only three legs, it has not hindered his movement in a detrimental way, he is still very able
