Hi! I’m Cottontail. I’m an 8-week-old kelpie cross (likely border collie/Lab).
I’m one of 9 puppies known as “The Easter pups.” We were born in care and have been raised by our beautiful kelpie cross mum "Bonnie" with help from foster mum and dad.
Most of my siblings have families waiting, but not me. Maybe you will be my forever family?
Foster mum says I’m an sweet, cuddly and fun little girl who's one of the two cuddliest girls in my litter. I'm a busy little girl that would prefer an active home with a doggie sibling, or a home that will ensure I have lots of socialisation with friendly dogs to help me grow up to be a happy and confident dog. I live with 3 resident cats and chickens.
I love to play with soft squeaky toys and I enjoy a good game of tug ‘o’ war with my siblings. Chasing the little ball around is pretty fun too.
I sleep outside in my kennel with my siblings under the watchful eye of my mum Bonnie. Foster mum & dad don’t hear a peep out of me until the morning.
Being a working breed, I need an active home. One that’s committed to my ongoing training & socialisation. If that’s you then what are you waiting for? Foster mum would love to hear from you.

Medical notes
All puppies are to be desexed between 24 & 26-weeks of age. You must be prepared to sign a contract agreeing to take the pup to the nominated vet on time. The puppy will remain in our rescue name until we have received proof of desexing. This is non-negotiable.
Only the initial vaccination is included in the adoption price. All pups have been wormed every two weeks from 2-weeks of age & have had Frontline spray. All pups will be commenced on monthly heartworm prevention at 8-weeks prior to adoption.

~As a working breed I will need ongoing training and mental stimulation to keep me from being bored. How do you plan to meet those needs?
~Will you let me live inside and be part of the family?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea, tick and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality puppy biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to give me a home?
~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be
required.
~Please be aware, we may ask for a vet reference.
