Hi there! My name is Rusty.

I have not had the socialisation and exposure to the world that I needed. So you could say I am a bit rusty with my socialisation skills. New situations and meeting new people can be quite scary. I'm looking for an experienced owner to help build my confidence at a slow pace.

I would love a home that has a more rural setting without the activity and business of a city/suburban environment.
I am looking for a quiet and patient adult home where I can be given time to feel safe and slowly learn all about the world.
Youngs kids and lot of visitors will be too overwhelming for me.

I sometimes enjoy socialising with other kelpies, specifically calmer males. So I maybe ok sharing my home with a well socialised male kelpie.
However I have not met many other breeds of dogs and am not ready to share my home with them.

I have a lot of energy so would love a big outdoor area where I can run around!
If I have to stay home alone, enrichments like Kong toys, bones to chew, and toys for me to play with will keep me entertained until you get home.

I look forward to learning how to be your indoor companion.
