About Ebony
After being brought into care pregnant, Ebony had a miscarriage and was rushed in to be desexed as she hadn't passed her last kitten. She's all recovered now and while was close to her sister Pippi at first, has grown distant now that they're not pregnant together. We believe it would be best for her to find a new home where she can receive all the love she deserves!
Ebony is a very affectionate girl who loves pats. Her tail points towards her head when she's happy and she's happiest when she's receiving attention. She's got a lovely medium-haired coat that may need grooming and is one of the friendliest cats her foster carer has ever met.
Ebony is approximately 1 year old and is:
- good with cats
- untried with dogs
- untried with children
Ebony's adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- Vaccination
- Microchip
- Flea and worming treatment up to date of adoption
- An adoption pack with some of her current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, some toys and other goodies.
Ebony is available to meet at her foster carer's place at Christie Downs. Due to her foster carer being immunocompromised, we require masks to be worn at meet and greets for her protection.
If you would like to meet Ebony, please contact us to book a meet and greet appointment.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
