Nellie is an affectionate young girl that is looking for a special type of home. She's a friendly girl who loves people. When she came into care she was quite pushy and didn't have many manners. Now, after some consistent boundaries she is learning how to be a polite with both humans and other dogs.

She is not the kind of dog you can turn loose at the park or the beach - yet. She knows how to walk beautifully on a lead, sit, drop and wait for my meals. Currently she can get excited on greeting humans so is working on calm greetings and on recall.

Nellie is doing well with training but will benefit from a family who will keep it up and continue setting boundaries consistently.

You must have experience managing strong willed dogs to be considered for Nellie. If this sounds like you, then Nellie will make a fun and loving addition to your home. She loves to play and go on adventures and at the end of the day have a quiet cuddle on the couch.
