Nature
Hi there, we are Whiskey & Peat and we are a brother and sister duo. We are very close and have learnt to depend on each other for our comforts when our human foster mum isn’t close by. We sleep, play, groom and eat together. There isn’t much known about the beginning of our story, but we were surrendered to the pound where we found our first home with our foster mum. Life has been pretty amazing since then but it’s now time we find our purrfect furever home.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We’ve met a few of our foster mums adult family members and her young nieces. Whiskey is a bit more confident than Peat - Peat tends to take a while to feel comfortable and safe with new people, but with time we come around. We haven’t met any other cats or dogs yet, but because we can be a little shy, we may be best suited to a home with older children and no dogs.

We would loooove to stay together, but if that’s not possible we would benefit from a friendly confident kitty to keep us company in our new home. As always, we will need a slow introduction to any new furry friends.

Likes / Dislikes
We love to play and are we good at it or what?! We love a good game of chasey, whether it be with each other or with the teaser sticks with toys dangling from them. We have a Kmart cat jungle gym at our foster home which we love - that thing plays almost as well as we do!

Our foster mum lets us sit on her lap while she’s sat on the floor playing with us and we LOVE to have a nap together on her legs once we’re worn out. Whiskey loves a good under neck scratch and Peat loves an ear, tummy and back scratch. We just love attention in general really!

We are always ready and keen for our wet kitten food for breakfast and dinner and we like to have dry biscuits available through the day and night to snack on as we please.

We aren’t a fan of loud noises but we are only little so as you can imagine, they sound really big and scary to us.

Our PURR-fect home would be somewhere together or with another friend for us to play with. We don’t like to be alone, we cry a bit if we can’t find each other so a friend or our sibling is important to us. We'd also love a home with lots of toys, lots of attention, lots of love, and lots of food pawlease!

If you would like to apply to adopt Whiskey or Peat, come and meet them at Cat Haven adoption event this Saturday from 11am to 3pm. They will be ready to go with the first suitable family.

Adoption Fee: $250 each or $450 for the pair.

*Whiskey & Peat’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Whiskey & Peat had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. They were treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
