About Ace
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME WANTED!
Do you have a playful pooch who is looking for a partner in crime? Do you have a bunch of kids who are looking for a dog to have lots of fun with and cuddle? Do you have an active lifestyle and are looking for a sidekick to join you on all of your activities? Are you looking for an active, smart and loyal dog in a compact package? Please meet Ace. He was adopted from us around 14 months ago and has come back as his family tell us he has developed some separation anxiety and is being noisy when they leave the house. Ace is an adorable guy, our vets believe that he is a blend of Border Collie and Dachshund and, as such, he is a smart, energetic, loyal little boy who needs lots of physical and mental stimulation. Ace is crate trained and we have not heard any noise from him while he is in his crate. He absolutely loves other dogs and will play and wrestle with any dog who will play with him. We believe that Ace would do best in a home where his humans were home more often than not or could take him with them when they went out. Whilst Ace has not exhibited any anxiety since his return to us, his new humans, be they foster or forever, must be prepared to continue to work with his anxiety should it arise. Ace is good in the house and knows his basic commands. He is mat trained, and he is good in the car. Ace is not suited to a home with cats, birds or pocket pets. Ace is bigger than a small dog but smaller than a medium and, at a guess, I would estimate he probably weighs about 12kg. Ace is a robust little guy who has lots of energy. He is not a lapdog for an elderly person, he is very much a mini Border Collie in looks and personality. Ace is currently located in Kingaroy. If you can foster him, please go to the website www.karmasplacerescue.org.au and fill in the online foster form. To adopt, please fill in the online adoption enquiry form – Sam 😊
