About Diesel
Diesel loves company and all the finer things in life. He’s been very spoilt and as a result can be quite snappy when he doesn’t get his own way. We believe a quiet home without children would be the best fit for Diesel at this stage.
Diesel currently suffers from fear aggression and as a result it can be very hard for a vet to get near him.
He will need the help of a behavioural trainer and very strict boundaries in place at home to teach him right from wrong.
Diesel has just had a large kidney stone removed which has caused him frequent UTI’s in the past. As a result he has lost some of his toilet training ability and will need to be retrained to go outside when he needs to.
He can be a bit of an escape artist so good fencing is a must and a household where people are not coming and going constantly as he will take any opportunity to squeeze through and open door and take himself for a walk. Walks are his favourite thing!
Please do not apply unless you have a trainer or are a trainer. We will not accept applications from anyone who is not committed to his ongoing training.
If Diesel sounds like the furry friend for you please fill out an application form on the All 4 Paws website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/dog-adoption-formexpression-of-interest.html
** Due to the number of enquires we receive we will only respond to applications submitted via our website.
Medical notes
Diesel has had a kidney stone removed.
He is currently on a restricted diet following the kidney stone and frequent UTI’s it caused.
He suffers from a skin allergy which can cause his ears to become itchy and takes medication for this. It may require lifetime medication to keep under control.
