About Skye DL2659
Skye is the most beautiful, sweet, loving, gentle, couch-potato of a dog!
She quickly bonds with you and is happy just to be with you, preferably cuddled on the couch. She will also sleep quietly in her bed if you are pottering about.
Skye isn't a fan of being left home alone, so she needs someone home often who's willing to work on this with her. She is a pleasure to have at home with you, so if you are looking for a chilled out companion, Skye is the one.
Skye walks beautifully on lead and likes a nice walk each day to sniff out the neighbourhood news. She has been very gentle with children she has met on her walks. She is currently living with a dog-savvy cat and is very nice to her (but if you have a cat that will run, she may confuse it for a game and play chase).
Skye needs slow introductions to new dogs so she can learn how to make friends. She is okay passing other dogs on walks, and was fine walking with a friend's small male dog, so it may help her confidence to have another doggo pal.
Skye is house trained and sleeps well indoors through the night. She already knows cues such as 'sit' and 'come', and is working on 'wait'/'stay'. She's not used to travelling in cars, so this is currently a work in progress.
If you'd love to welcome the snuggly Skye into your family, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
Medical notes
At 28kg, Skye is a medium to large sized adult dog. Breed history unknown - Potentially Greyhound, Doberman, Rottie, or Kelpie in the mix.
