This little girl will make someone feel so loved and special. The smile Kansas gives you when you pat her on the head or behind the ears makes it impossible for you not to smile back.
Kansas has been in care with her foster brother and sister staffies for 2 weeks and in this time has blossomed. For a small dog she has a lot of character. Her first reaction to new things is to let out a little growl while wagging her tail. She is still a puppy but learning quickly about the world each day.
For a young dog she is quite well behaved. While in care she has not chewed anything or dug any holes. She likes her chew toy but is also happy to just sit and snuggle with her canine foster siblings or on your lap if you let her.
We think she would be ok as an only dog, if someone was home most of the time. She can get a bit jealous over affection so probably wouldn't suit a household with dogs smaller than her, but bigger ones like her foster siblings would be fine.
Kansas is walking great on the lead. She is good in the car and enjoys getting out for adventures.
Kansas isn't overly vocal but is good at letting you know if someone is at the door or if she hears a strange noise. She would be a good mini watchdog.
Possibly ok with cats as she met one at the vet and wasn't reactive.
Kansas has not been tested around small children and may not suit as she does jump on new people sometimes
Must have secure high fencing. Kansas can jump over a 1.6m fence.
