Tiny

2-year-old Tiny is a happy girl who just wants to have fun.

With lots of puppy energy to burn, Tiny is looking for a home with a backyard to play in and humans to dote on her. Her zoomie skills are 10/10. Her new family will be prepared for lots of laughs but also the challenges that come with teaching a young dog the ropes. Tiny is very food motivated and eager to learn, and Amazing Greys has lots of resources to help you both master the basics.

Tiny took a few days to settle into foster care but was an immediate snuggler. She approaches life with two paces – asleep or tornado, although likes to clock off around 6:30 pm and chill on the couch until bedtime. Tiny is great inside the home. She has had no accidents inside and quickly learned to stay out of the kitchen with all its tempting goodies.

Tiny loves going for a walk and is confident when out and about, adjusting to new noises and sights quickly. She is learning to walk loose-leash and her new home will continue this training with her. She loves weekend brunches at the local café, although doesn’t understand why all the food isn’t for her!

Tiny has been in foster care with two older male greyhounds and they were both very patient with her attempts to play. Tiny would love a home with a resident greyhound, perhaps one with slightly more energy than her ‘elderly’ brothers so far, although she has been very sweet following them around and copying them.

Tiny has not had much socialisation or experience with other dog breeds. We will consider homes with other medium/large dog breeds (pending a meet and playdate). Tiny can be a little too interested in smaller dogs on walks, although seems to be getting more used to them. However, at this stage, we will not be accepting applications from homes with small dog breeds.

Tiny does seem to have a little separation anxiety and would do best with another dog for company and/or with humans who do not need to leave them alone for long periods (part-time workers, students, retirees, or share-houses are ideal). Tiny is friendly and on the small side for a greyhound. She would suit a home with kids, although do keep in mind that she can be quite boisterous when playing, and supervision is always a must with young kids and dogs as they get to know one another.

• Apartments, or other homes without a secure outdoor space large enough for zoomies
• Homes where Tiny would be left alone for FT hours
• Homes with resident small dogs, cats, or pocket pets
