About Rogue & Bandit
đș BANDIT & ROGUE đș
Meet Rogue and Bandit, two handsome brothers who were rescued from a large colony that we have been working on over the past few months. Our sweet boys have amazed us with their close brotherly bond, especially Rogue who protects Bandit when he is feeling shy and nervous. Bandit and Rogue's condition has improved dramatically, with both boys gaining weight and sporting a soft and shiny coat that took us by surprise! These two brothers have shown us just how closely bonded they are, and we could not bear to separate such a loving duo. We are now on the search to find the perfect home for Rogue and Bandit together, where they can spend the rest of their days happily enjoying each otherâs company.
Rogue is the braver of the pair, always letting little Bandit tuck himself away behind the safety of his brother. Rogue didn't take long to become a much loved member of his foster family, happily accepting pats and roaming about the house as if he owned the place! Rogue is confident in his environment and slowly encourages Bandit to become more and more comfortable with people. He will come and say hello to you before quickly running back to butt heads with his brother for a cuddle, returning to you for more scratches in no time. Rogue's foster carer tells us that itâs so heart-warming to see this lovely boy protecting and comforting his brother.
Bandit is the shy brother who likes to hide behind Rogue, especially when he is feeling a bit nervous around people. Bandit has had a sad start to his life, having an eye removed once he was rescued. This was because he was at a high risk of developing glaucoma due to multiple complications with his eye, with his specialist suggesting removal of the eye before adoption. Bandit has adjusted well to his new life as a pirate cat, which was an easy transition having no sight in that eye previously. Bandit takes a lot of comfort in his brother Rogue, who slowly encourages him to interact with people without being so scared.
Bandit and Rogue are suited to a quieter home with older children. They are cat social and are comfortable living with relaxed dogs as long as slow introductions are done at a pace, they are comfortable with. All adult cats are sent to potential new homes on a one to two week trial after an initial meet and greet before finalising adoption. While adult cats do take longer than this to settle into a new home, it allows a chance to see how the cat is coping with the new environment.

Medical notes
Medical Note: Bandit and Rogue were exposed to a widespread disease commonly known as Cat Flu (Feline Herpes Virus). They showed mild signs of illness, were treated, and recovered well. This virus is a common respiratory disease in cats and varies in severity. The virus usually attacks the respiratory tract (nasal passages and lungs), eyes, or both. Signs of illness may or may not develop again over time and veterinary treatment might be required. As usual, regular vaccinations are important to protect them, and other cats within the same living space should be up to date with vaccination.
Important note: Bandit has had an enucleation due to sustaining a previous untreatable trauma to the eye. One eyed cats are at a disadvantage with their limited vision and are at greater risk of injury. Because of this, one eyed cats should be kept indoors and confined to a secure cat run.
