🌧🌟 MEET ANGUS 🌟🌧
Hi there, my name is Angus. I am going to be honest, I am a very anxious and scared kitty, I really really need someone with a big enough heart to overlook this, to give me a chance and to help me on my journey to live my best life - one full of confidence, charisma, and charm. I know I can get there, will you help me?
Nature
I appear to my foster mum to be a very shut down little guy. I am scared of everything, and I will retreat to my hidey-hole when I hear someone enter the room. I am so afraid something bad may happen to me that I refuse to come out even if the humans try to coax me out with food or toys. I just lack confidence and have trust issues, you see, but if you are kind, calm and patient maybe we can work together and in time I will be your purr-fect companion!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I haven’t met any children or dogs since I came into foster care, and boy am I glad about that! Their noise and quick movements would be far too much for me to handle, so none of those in my new home, please.
I have been exposed to cats, but I haven’t shown much interest. I do think it would be great to have a super friendly and confident cat in my new home though - I can watch how they interact with humans which should help me come out of my shell, and I’ll also have someone to keep my company when I’m feeling scared and lonely. As always, when introducing me to any new furry friends, I will need a slow and gentle introduction.
Likes / Dislikes
My foster mum says I am a great eater! I enjoy wet food morning and night and I have an unlimited supply of grain-free biscuits available for me to snack on whenever I feel peckish. I am also partial to some cat grass... Mm-mmm!
My foster mum thinks I don’t enjoy toys... but I just don’t enjoy playing with them when humans are around to watch! You should see me when I’m alone and the house is quiet - it's a whole different ball game!
My PURR-fect home would be a nice quiet and calm one with very patient pawrents, and a safe hidey-hole to tuck myself away when I’m feeling scared while I work on my confidence. A friendly, confident kitty friend would be great please, but no children or woofers for me.

4607 - Angus
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Grey & White
DOB: 03/02/2017
Adoption Fee: $100
*Angus's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment
Medical Notes: Angus had cat flu, a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
Angus has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Angus will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
