About Sammy ~ 7 week old male (on trial 16/05/2021)
Cute as a button and sweet as pie is little Sammy who is a 7 week old little fellow looking for his very own home preferably with his sister Mandy or another cat who is looking for a new friend.
Sammy came into care after he was found with his mum and siblings in a shed. It didn’t take him long to love being warm, cozy and fed on a regular basis.
Sammy is the tiniest out of the three and he is also the quieter kitten BUT also the neediest one who loves to curl up on your chest for a snooze and a cuddle.
He is a happy, healthy, playful kitten who loves nothing more than running around playing with his brother and sister. He adores all the kitten toys and bounces around chasing anything that moves.
Sammy is in care with 3 adult cats and two medium cat friendly dogs that do not seem to worry him so with slow introductions we are sure he would be fine with cat friendly dogs.
Sammy, since so little, would like someone home more often than not or at least have another cat at home for company. He would best suit children over the ages of 5 years old who are gentle and loving.
Sammy must be an inside boy only unless you have a secure outside area such as a cat enclosure to keep him safe.
Sammy is litter trained and yes he does enjoy his food and requires several small meals a day.
He needs to be desexed just before he is four months old so can only be adopted within the Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast, and Port Stephens areas - He will need to go to a DRN affiliated vet for this. The adoption fee is $250 which includes his microchip, first vaccination and desexing plus his flea treatment and worming.
We are sure whoever adopts Sammy will be delighted with him. You cannot help but love him.
If interested in meeting Sammy please complete the DRN questionnaire linked below. He is in care in Merewether Heights.
