Bissie is the greatest little dog. He is very quirky and has some funny habits.
Bissie has an extreme allergy to roheo plant. He should not be in a yard where these are growing or they need to be fully removed .
Bissie is a friendly very active little dog and is well socialised with other dogs and loves visits to the park. Visitors to the house are met with an enthusiastic greeting and he gets very excited running around. He would be most suitable for an adult couple or a family with older children.
Hunting lizards in the garden is another favourite activity.
Bissie is not an escapologist but he will not miss an opportunity to run for an open door/gate
Bissie is excellent to walk on the lead and he loves it.
So basically he is a very normal happy healthy little guy.
If you are applying for him then we suggest reading the whole profile and making sure you address everything. Adding in as much info as possible will help you to get a call back.
Eg: we have had JRTs before and I stand their nature, we love the breed
Or: My kids are extremely respectful of dog’s and we all take adoption very seriously

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
