About Molly - 10 week old kitten (on trial 15/05/2021)
Little Miss Molly is the perfect kitten for a family with children of all ages. She and her brother Harvey were with their mum and surrendered into foster care. Molly is now 10 weeks old and looking for her forever home.
This little pocket rocket has a tonne of energy and loves to play. She will play chasing with other cats and humans. Hide-and-seek is a favourite game of hers to play. Nothing more fun than hiding behind a door and scaring your human out of their skin!
Molly has settled in quite fast at her foster home and has become accustomed to the routines and sounds there. She is happy being around other cats and is used to barking dogs and loud birds. Molly can be quite timid if people approach her fast. She can also become very frightened at loud noises that she isn’t used to. She’s still just a baby of course!
Sweet little Molly is a big believer in friendship and tends to fret if she is left alone for long periods. So she will need to be in a home with another friendly cat (may we suggest one from DRN?) or with someone who is home most of the day.
Cats and kittens adopted from Dog Rescue Newcastle must be inside only unless you have a cat enclosure that they can have some outside time in. Molly is in foster care in Morisset NSW. Since she is too young to be desexed she will need to be adopted locally in the Newcastle, Central Coast or Hunter area so she can be returned to one of our affiliated vets before she is 4 months old for desexing. This is included in her adoption fee of $250, which also covers her microchipping and first kitten vaccination.
