About Toby
Meet Toby!
This sweet boy is full of goofy personality. He loves all things food and knows to sit for his treats.
Toby loves toys. Especially ones with squeakers and tugs toys. He throws his ropes around and rolls around with them.
Toby has a calm nature. He is good with kids of all ages, dogs and cats.
He loves sitting on the couch with his humans and gives lots of kisses. His tail is always waggin!
Because of his amputation Toby can only go on regular small walks. He needs his mind to be kept occupied with lots of toys and game so he doesn't get bored.
He is a big boy and is already 20kg at only 5.5 months of age.
Toby is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night time.
A home with another dog is very important for Toby!
Toby would love to meet you!
* Please note we are not in rush to find Toby a home. He needs a very specific home to fit his needs.
** Toby has the potential to be trained as a support dog
Medical notes
Toby came to us with a broken left leg. It was damaged beyond repair and had to be amputated.
He is a tough boy and still functions as your average pup but his leg does get tired easily.
Because he is a large dog there is a risk of shoulder issues and arthritis in his right front leg in the future.
High quality foot and joint supplements are a good idea for Toby.
