About Poppy ~ Kelpie X Puppy(On Trial 9/5/21)
Poppy is a beautiful loving 4 month old Female kelpie x. She is quite petite and is very sweet.
Poppy loves to sleep inside and cuddle up next to her humans or big foster sister. Since coming into foster care, she has learnt to sit , go to her bed and is doing very well with toilet training with minimal accidents. In a short time, her personality has protruded and she is now the biggest bundle of fun. Poppy's favourite thing is chasing her foster sister around and playing with her toys or laying in the sun.
Poppy has a great temperament and loves children and other dogs but would suit having siblings that are gentle as she is only small. Poppy has exceeded when it comes to learning commands from her foster mum, she learns very quickly.
Poppy has had a rough start to life but is now ready to join her forever family and show all the love she has to give.
Poppy is very friendly with other dogs and would be happy with a fur sibling, however she would be okay as an only dog if there was someone home most of the time. She is not tested with cats or pocket pets. Poppy is currently sleeping inside at night and playing outside during the day, she must always be allowed inside her new home.
As Poppy is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central coast and Port Stephens as she will need to be returned to our vets for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old. Unfortunately, this means we will not allow interstate or out of area adoption.
For more information or to meet Poppy, please contact Chontelle at bubbles13.5.11@hotmail.com. Poppy is in foster care at Kurri Kurri, NSW.
