About Hulk
Hi big Dawg lovers.
My name is Hulk and I am a 10 month old Great Dane x Arab
I may be a big boy now but at only 10 months I've still got a bit to go !
My heart is as big as my body ... I am just a big loveable sweetheart
I am a placid boy as most Danes are, but being a puppy still if you leave me alone for the whole day with nothing to do Ill find a mat to chew or a pot plant...
He is fine to leave at home while you are at work but needs a few toys to play with
We have found Hulk has not has much on lead training so when you take him for a walk he stops a lot and doesn't want to walk far.
We found that having another dog to floor made him super confident and he was happy to go on a walk
We feel that Hulk would be best suited to a home with another large dog { female} that can teach him the ways of "dog" and give him the confidence outside of the home
OBEDIENCE
Hulk can be a well behaved with a little firm voice. If he can’t see someone and he’s stuck outside he will tend to tap on the glass and bark until he comes in. He loves playing with his toys as most puppies do.
ENRICHMENT
Hulk is a typical Dane puppy. All legs and no coordination lol a pup but also is very lazy when he’s inside. He tends to bark a little bit when he’s by himself and bored if left for hours and hours on end He loves a good old fashioned bone and will chew on it for hours.Wathc those clothes on the line as he can reach too ......
SLEEPING
Hulk sleeps inside every night from about 7pm til about 6am until I let him out in the morning. He does snore when he’s in a deep sleep but he doesn’t cause any trouble at night. If he sleeps outside he does bark and tap on the glass but if you tend to ignore him he’ll get the idea and go to bed. He likes sleeping with a light on as I think he’s afraid of the dark.
SOCIALISATION
Hulk hasn’t met many many other dogs but when we tested him with a submissive female he was great.
Being a puppy he did want to play and was tapping her with his paw in play
If another dog in residence she needs to be big enough to handle play with him
FOOD
Hulk is currently fed a mixture of Dry food and Prime 100
HYGIENE
Hulk has a small skin infections when he arrived but this was treated with antibiotics and has now cleared
TRAVEL/CAR
he’s not a fan of driving in cars and a little encouragement and he will hop right in. When he’s in the car he tends to sleep most of the trip but will get nervous when exiting the car. It’s better if you have him on a lead.
IDEAL HOME
I feel that hulk would thrive in a household who has time to dedicate to his walking confidence and to play with him
Enrichment toys are a must and certainly a daily walk would be ideal
He will need a yard to run and play and allowed to sleep in a nice warm area
We feel with his loving temperament kids would be fine as well but remember he is a big boy so kids can be knocked over by a Dane puppy finding his feet
Hulk comes with on of our amazing Zenify packs including
Harness
Lead
Grooming Glove
Travel Water bowl
Seatbelt attachment
