About Shiloh

Available for foster with a view to adopt.
Shiloh lives up to his name – this is one shy big guy. Shiloh loves to shadow his foster family and doesn’t like to be left alone, so he’s looking for a new home where he can hang with his humans most of the time. He can be a little timid with new people but with time and lots of love and treats he may just find that people can be good.
Shiloh is house trained and walks well on a leash. Like so many other dogs, he is a real dog detective on the leash and will stop to investigate all the wonderful smells. He is happy to meet dogs, big and small, but like a lot of dogs doesn’t like too exuberant dogs that get in his face.
Despite having a beautiful name, Shiloh doesn’t know or respond to his name just yet but will learn over time. He doesn’t appear to have had any training so a new home that has time and energy to invest in basic training would be ideal. More importantly though, Shiloh needs a lot of love in a nice quiet home. And who couldn’t love that gorgeous face?
Shiloh will be desexed and have a splenectomy at the same time. After that he will be available for adoption.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
