About Preston
Preston is one in a million.
This cat has defied all odds and made a remarkable recovery from what he was found in.
Preston has vision in only one eye, the other was badly damaged by flu when he was a small kitten.
Preston is incredibly loveable and sweet. He wants nothing more to be around you and follow your every move. What he lacks in love for been held in your arms, he makes up for in snuggles on your lap and beside you in bed. Preston is the master of becoming a human shadow and loves to show you that he adores you with hundreds of head boops, purrs and cuddles. He puts all other affectionate cats to shame.
He is inquisitive, a quick learner and very sociable. He will need another friendly feline to play with regularly and to show him the ropes. This is a must, no exceptions.
Preston gets lonely, quick. So he needs someone who will be home regularly to show him love and attention and considering what he has already been through, that’s the least he deserves.
He is a MASSIVE piggy when it comes to food. He won’t ever touch human food or come for your plate at dinner (he does have a lot of respect for others) but he will eat anything you put in his bowl!
Preston has learned to play fetch with balls. It’s his favourite game and will come and drop his toy in your lap to instigate play time. He will successfully play fetch for around 10mins and then give up and go have a snooze.
He LOVES water. Yes, water. Chases the water out of the hose, comes in the shower with his foster humans and doesn’t mind a bath here and there. He is truely incredible.
Preston doesn’t know his size... he instigates rough play time with two large adult Maine coons and thinks he can tackle any obstacle in front of him - which is why he pulled through and survived.
He will be your best friend and adore you from day dot. He holds no resentment towards humans even though we failed him from birth but loves everyone he comes into contact with.
If you give him an inch, he will give you a mile. He works hard to be loved however it’s not at all hard to love him.
He deserves nothing more than a tonne of love, cuddles and a big belly.
He is truely special and one of a kind.
Medical notes
Blind in one eye.
