About Velociraptor
Having lived 75 million years ago and reaching heights of 7.6 ft tall the Velociraptor was a prehistoric predator with a vicious reputation....
Which is exactly why it is a totally ridiculous name for this love little girl.
Living in the here and now, and smaller than knee high this sweet natured excitable and loving girl is at BARC and is looking for a new home to call her own.
At 6 months of age Vel as she is affectionately known has lots of love to give, charisma to die for and a whole lot of confidence. A great desire to please means this girl would excel at some form of obedience training and a typical kelpie attitude means that a fly ball champion is in her future.
OK with other dogs, Val does show rounding instincts and spends her time trying to work other 4 legged friends. She would be happy to live with another laid back dog whom she could learn the ropes from.
Not suitable to live in a home with small children but looking for two legged pack members to run and play with Val is a lovely dog and would fast make friends with anyone in the home.
Fit and active and looking for a new home with owners of the same mindset, Val would love to join you on your outings, holidays and even shopping trips... Going to the park would be a favourite activity of this Velociraptor... Just not that park... Cue Jurassic Park music...
If you think you have the ideal home for this little pocket rocket please call BARC on 5441-2209 to arrange a meet and greet appointment.
Available to meet and greet 06/05/21

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
