Winnie ~ 7 week old kitten (on trial 27/5/21)

Just like her name sake Winnie the Pooh, this little bear cub has a gentle nature and the cutest little stumpy tail. Winnie is a sweet and friendly girl with an almighty purr and striking eyes.

Winnie was found on the streets with her brother Humphrey (B Bear) but we assume that one of their parents must have been a Manx cat given their stumpy tails and long legs.

Winnie is a confident girl who loves the company of other cats and can play all day. She loves to cuddle up with her brother or the other cats in the house but her favourite place to curl up is inside your dressing gown on your chest.

Winnie has been exposed to two large but calm dogs and isn’t phased by them at all but of course introductions to new animals need to be taken slow.

Winnie, like all kittens, is a social girl who thrives in the company of other animals and humans. Cats are naturally colony animals so company is important for them. She will need to go to a home with an existing cat or friendly dog, a home where someone is home more often than not, or she can be adopted with her brother Humphrey.

Winnie and Humphrey are both toilet trained and are located in foster care in Mayfield.

They will need to be adopted in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast area so that they can be returned to one of our affiliate vets for desexing at 14 weeks old. Winnie’s adoption fee is $250 which covers desexing, first vaccination and microchip. If you would like to adopt Winnie and Humphrey as a pair, the joint fee is $450.
