About Tate
Hello everyone, it’s me Tate, do you recognise my sweet face? I was the poor pup who was left tied to a fence with a free sign and posted up on snapchat for people to find me. I have no idea what I did to deserve such treatment from my previous owners, because since arriving in care, I have been nothing but a sweet heart. I don’t have a bad bone in my body and I thank my lucky stars every day that a wonderful lady rescued me and contacted Belle Vie! I’ve now completed all of my vet work and am ready to find my forever home... is that with you?
I currently live with a large dog and we get along perfectly. He has taught me how to play and boy do I love to run around and wrestle. I would love to have another dog in my forever home to play with. When I first arrived into care, I had no idea what toys were... but now I love to play a game of tug of war and will tease my foster brother by stealing his tennis balls and running away with them, I’m super cheeky. I’m also very smart and have already learnt how to sit, shake, lay down - although I roll straight on my side for belly rubs, they are my favourite. I will also wait for my food and sit before entering the house. It was apparent I hadn’t been let indoors very often and was not toilet trained. I learnt very quickly though and haven’t had an accident since my second day in care. I’m very much a boys boy and will mark my territory on everything, plants beware! I love meeting new people and although I can tend to jump up at them with excitement, I’m just looking for attention... I’m working hard on learning this isn’t okay, but I just get so excited that I forget. I’m also still just a puppy and have so much to learn... I’d love for my new family to continue my training as I am super intelligent. I am very affectionate and will always lay on top of you. If you sit down, you can guarantee I will flop on your lap for pats and roll over for belly rubs. I live with two cats, and while they don’t appreciate my company, I would love theirs. I happily just watch them do their own thing and do not bother them at all... even when they do walk past me and hiss. I happily sleep through the night, inside, on my own cozy bed... though I do prefer to cuddle in with my foster brother, he doesn’t mind. Well that’s all from me, I hope I sound like the boy for you... I’m very easy going and so eager to find my forever family. Please read below on how to apply to adopt me.
