About Emiko
Emiko is an incredibly sweet and playful 6-month-old kitten. Found during a trap-neuter-return project, she was deemed very friendly and suitable for adoption.
Emiko's favourite activities include playing with her feather ball and cuddling her foster carer. She doesn't mind being picked up and loves a good scratch under the chin.
Litter trained and being taken care of by one of our fosters.
Coming from the streets, Emiko has fully adapted to being indoors and has grown into a sweet little girl who loves her play time and will snuggle on your lap or at your legs. She's very affectionate and will often lick your hand or face when shes cleaning herself!
Surprisingly she also loves to play fetch and will often bring her toys to you in-between zoomies. She loves being played with so will do well in a home with lots of people or with someone who will work from home at least part time.
At night time she likes to sleep leaning on us or right on top of our legs! Sometimes she takes the other pillow too. She's always watching people and will especially stare at new people.
She does have a tendency to bite paper, cardboard, plants, chew on plastic, and try to swallow string. These things will need to always be kept out of her reach or keep an eye while in her reach for her safety.
Emiko has had a history of around 4 seizures clustered in about a month, but had been put on antibiotics and seizure medication. She has been fully treated for toxoplasmosis and has now been completely weaned off her seizure medication. No seizures for almost 3 months, and has been weaned off medication for the last two weeks.
