About Bonnie ~ 5yr Old German Shepherd(On Trial 15/05/21
Introducing Bonnie, a beautiful 5 year old German Shepherd who is looking for a patient and loving forever home.
Bonnie is very enthusiastic and toy focused. She has lots of energy and will happily spend hours catching and chasing balls. Bonnie will benefit from lead training and daily walks. Being a large, solid girl, Bonnie will need a family who can handle her strength and size, whilst also having the patience and consistency to train her. Lead training will benefit her hugely.
Bonnie is a very quick learner and has picked up on basic manners since coming into care - she is very toy motivated and will sit and listen very well. She is house and toilet trained and follows direction on where she is allowed in the house. She knows come, sit, drop it, toilet, bed, up here. She is a very smart dog and can be independent at times. Bonnie is toilet trained and will let you know when she wants to go out.
Bonnie loves people and follows her foster Mum everywhere, including to sleep on her bed. Most of the time someone has been home so minimal time is spent by herself and that is all that Bonnie really wants, to be around her humans. As soon as her Mum is back from work or running errands she is waiting excitedly at the door ready to smother her in kisses. She would not be suited to be an outside only dog, she really wants to be part of the family and welcomed in at all times. Bonnie would love a large backyard with room to play, due to her breed she will require secure 6ft fencing and will not be suited to apartment or courtyard complexes.
We are looking for a home that is experienced with large breed dogs, preferably German Shepherds. We’d like someone who has the time available to dedicate to training Bonnie, as well as giving her the physical and mental stimulation she needs. If you meet these requests, please complete an application below.
If you feel that you can give this wonderful girl a forever loving home please contact sarahsrescues@gmail.com or fill in an adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
Bonnie is located in Kurri Kurri. She is desexed and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming. Bonnie’s adoption fee is $300.
