About Suzie
Hey everyone, I'm Suzie!
I found my way to BARC as a stray and was never reclaimed. So here I am now seeking a loving forever home for myself.
The staff here at BARC call me Suzie the Smooch-Monster because I am so affectionate and loving. I love to chirp hello to you and have little conversations, sometimes to myself!
I am a very young girl who likes to play and then loves to nap the day away in the sunny window (or a comfy lap!)
I am extremely people oriented and I love being around everyone. If you have young children I would like to meet them first, just to make sure we get along, but staff feel like I would be okay in most family environment.
I am a bit sassy at times, and currently not tolerating being house with other cats here at the shelter. A single pet home would be ideal for me, but If you had a super laid back cat and time and experience I may come around to the idea of living with another kitty.
If you would like to come and meet me please call BARC on (03) 5441 2209 to book a time.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
