Hi friends, my name is Fry!
I am a friendly, happy little girl who was surrendered into care by my breeder, so that my siblings, mum and I could get all our vet work done and find loving furever homes!
Since coming into care, I have proven to be a bundle of fun. I am smart, playful and a very friendly doggo. I currently sleep in a crate at night, and my toilet training is going great! I don't love baths (who does) but I let them do it to me, and I was wonderfully behaved at the vets! Being a mix breed, my adult size isn't known for sure, but the team at OTC think around 25kg - my mum is fully grown at 22kg! We don't know who my dad is, I guess he bailed on my mum- but we think he was likely around the same size.
I know how to come, sit, wait- and due to my keenness to learn, if you're looking for a trick or agility dog or similar, we think I'd be a perfect fit. I LOVE to learn, and pleasing you is my favourite thing of all. I get along great with all humans (adults and children!) and have a very relaxed, happy nature. I also like dogs, cats, cows, sheep, and chickens. I need my training continued as I age of course, but I have great ability to learn and a gentle nature.
I look forward to 4x weekly outings, so I can see the world, run sniff and roll! I would love another dog friend for company, but if not, that's ok too- just make sure you let me have a few play dates each week with other dogs, so that my great social skills are maintained!
I am the perfect dog for someone committed to my enrichment and training needs, and will reward you with all the fun, love and snuggles in the world! If you'd like to adopt me, please apply - a cutie like me won't be around long.

Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:
- Real estate approval
- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed, age
- Enrichment, exercise and training needs of pet you are applying for
- If you have not read our adoption process below in full, please do not apply until you have.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet. We will not contact you if you do not complete the form in full AND provided the required photos of yard/fencing within 48hrs. If you apply to adopt but require us to hold the pet more than 3 days before meeting, we will ask you for a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters. If you follow through with adoption after your meet, the $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the pet. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you place a $100 holding fee on the animal- the day you collect the pet you will sign an adoption contract and pay the remaining $350 fee.
All animals are adopted out with vaccinations up to date; any vaccinations due from date of adoption are the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must notify OTC, and present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic we direct you to in your area. OTC will cover any treatment needed at our authorised clinics.

NEED FLIGHTS?
1. Contact us for a quote via email or facebook, providing the following info.
- Your name
- The animal you are interested in
- How soon you would be able to adopt (as naturally their weight will increase with time)
- Which airport you would collect from
2. Once all of the above information is provided, we will gain a quote from JetPets, using our charity discount. Flights are generally from Brisbane or Toowoomba, QLD.
3. Once you receive your quote, if you'd like to proceed please put in your adoption application ASAP to make sure you don't miss out!
