About Sarah 🌷
I’m a super chilled and easy going young girl, and my foster family have named me Sarah 🥰 They tell me that I’m a mix of Great Dane x Bull Arab, which means I’m going to be quite a large girl when fully grown (I may take up the whole couch!)
I’m in care with another foster pup (Cookie) who arrived in care the same day I did and although we aren’t related, we have become great friends and spend our days and nights together. We also have 2 host dogs, one of which is a Great Dane (and she’s HUGE) and the other is a Staffy x Daschund (he’s the BOSS). I may be the smallest girl in my foster home, but can hold my own during playtime. Typically, it can get a little rough at times (hence my scratched up nose), but generally we all get along quite well. I love to explore my surroundings, play chase in the backyard and soak up the sunshine at nap time. I have a favourite spot in the yard where I love to stretch out and relax 😍
I’ve had a small amount of leash time and look forward to going on some adventures with my new family, once all my puppy vaccinations have been done. At the moment though, it’s too risky with Parvo, so I’ll need to continue my leash training within the yard.
My diet consists of Royal Canin Large breed puppy food, and my new owners will need to understand that it’s important to keep me on a good quality diet designed specifically for large breed pups, so that I grow at a steady, healthy rate.
Whilst in my foster home, I spend my days outside with the other dogs and have some family time inside of a night....snuggling on the couch. I’m doing fantastic with my toilet training and will do all my business on the grass 😉
It would be amazing if I had another doggie friend in my forever home, but I also think that I would do well in a home as an only dog, as long as I had the companionship of my people and continued socialisation with other friendly dogs. That way, I will be a well adjusted and socialised adult ❤️
I will also need someone who understands the importance of training....this is a must! You really don’t want an out of control misfit who you can’t take anywhere. I promise to do my best with training, if you can do the same 😉
Due to my size/breed, the Rescue is allowing me to be rehomed under a Desex agreement. This will mean that I will need to be returned to one of their approved vets on the Central Coast for Desexing, no later than 30th June 2021 (6 months old). A number of vets have been consulted regarding this decision, and they all feel that this is an appropriate age for my breed/size. For this reason, I will not be available for interstate adoption ❌
It’s now time for me to find a place to call ‘home’, so please send through a great enquiry and tell me what sort of life I can expect to have with you.....you’ll find me in Mardi on the Central Coast NSW. Looking forward to reading your application!

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
